Another update has been released.

The Imperial County Elections Department continues to count the ballots cast in last weeks Presidential Primary Election. 

he Imperial Irrigation District Division 4 race shows Javier Gonzales leading with 924 votes. Lewis Pacheco trails with 776 votes and Joong Kim 619. 

Board of Supervisors District 2 has Martha Cardenas-Singh with 1,854 votes, Dianha Garcia-Ruiz with 1,275 and Ashley Betussi with 1,148.

Board of Supervisors District 3 has Margarita "Peggy" Price has 2,009 votes and Felipe Irigoyen 1,878.

Board of Supervisors District 4 has Ryan Kelley with a commanding lead over 4 challengers.

Judge Christopher Plourd has 66.5 percent of the vote to Francisco Amador's 33.5 percent.

District-wide, Jeff Gonzales has 18,951 votes for State Assembly District 36. Jose "Joey" Acuna trails with 10,904 and Edgard Garcia has 7,289.

U. S. Representative Raul Ruiz has 43,597 votes in his quest for re-election and Ian Weeks follows with 19,115.
